Welcome to Victor's Lavender Farm. When it comes to propagating lavender, Victor Gonzalez, the North Olympic Peninsula’s resident expert wholesale lavender grower and supplier, is happy to share his 20+ years of global insights and guidance. He has successfully propagated millions of lavender plants during the last two decades. As a global lavender Ambassador, Victor has traveled extensively to provide growing and economic development insight to farmers from Peru & North Africa, to Latin America, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States. Always in demand for his consulting and growing skills, Victor is happy to call Sequim Washington home for his inviting and globally prominent Victor’s Lavender Farm.
The success of our Purple Haze Sequim lavender farm is deeply rooted in our commitment to preserving the agricultural heritage of the Dungeness Valley. We believe our farm should celebrate all that the acreage can provide: a sustainable perennial crop of organic flowers, a working farm that harvests the lavender by hand, distilling it into oils, hanging it in bundles to dry, and creating value-added products from the essential oils and sachet. We are a tourist destination that gives the visitor a connection to America’s agricultural roots, a sight for learning and celebration, and a connection to the world via the internet that allows us to gain and share information on the agriculture of this herb.
Olympic Lavender Company's heritage farm is a Sequim lavender original, one of the first founding farms of the lavender movement that started it all back in 1995. Home to the three largest purple Adirondack chairs in the Pacific Northwest, it’s become an iconic tourist destination on the lavender circuit. Come walk the fields, pick your own lavender, shop in the farm boutique, and participate in summertime farm demonstrations & workshops. And before you leave, climb up on one of those humongous chairs and get a picture of yourself making a memory!
Fleurish Lavender at Lost Mountain, nestled in the valley below the majestic Olympic Mountains in Sequim, WA, is a three-acre farm with over 100 different varieties of lavender and a wide assortment of trees and wildlife for our guests to enjoy. You never know if you’ll see a deer stealing a meal from our bountiful fruit orchard or catch our covey of quail out with their young in the rose bushes or lavender fields. In the summer, you can pick your own fragrant bouquet of lavender from our field or just relax under one of our trees with a picnic. In spring and fall, you’ll probably find us out working in the field weeding or pruning the plants. And in the winter, you might catch the lavender under a soft blanket of snow, a truly beautiful sight. Every day is a good day to visit and full of possibilities.
At Jardin du Soleil each passing season brings a unique farm experience. Spring is a time of excitement as the gardens wake up. Summer brings full fragrant blooms and the buzz of bees. Fall is the harvest season and the opportunity to see the distillation of world-class organic essential oil. And winter transforms the farm and brings views of the surrounding snow-covered Olympic Mountains. Year round, Jardin de Soleil’s gift shop is filled with the aroma of essential oil, locally handcrafted gifts, and soothing bath and body products. Come experience lavender at Jardin du Soleil.
The B&B Family Farm is one of the original lavender farms on the Olympic Peninsula and operated as a dairy farm before that, it has a rich history that gives it an authentic charm. With over 10,000 lavender plants in the ground, it’s not surprising that it takes three generations of the McCloskey clan to keep things going. Their 100-year-old barn provides the northern backdrop to thousands of lavender plants with a breathtaking view of the Olympic Mountains to the south. Free tours are offered all summer to demonstrate and explain how lavender is grown, processed, cleaned, and distilled.
