Tour de Lavender – The Farms

Lavender magic lives in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley, also known as “America’s Provence,” on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula.

The reason is simple: the unique climate of the Northern Olympic Peninsula combined with the vision, dedication, and love of entrepreneurial farmers who, since the 1990s, have transformed this area into the largest lavender producing region in the United States.

The Tour de Lavender takes cyclists out to Sequim’s iconic lavender farms and gives them an up close and personal look at the fragrant purple flower and the people who’ve helped make Sequim a major tourist destination.
